THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HEBRON WILL BE HOLDING A SPECIAL MEETING ON AUGUST 9, 2014 AT 10:00 AM TO CONDUCT A TOUR OF PART OF OUR STORMWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM. THIS MEETING WILL BEGIN AT THE MUNICIPAL COMPLEX LOCATED AT 934 WEST MAIN STREET AT 10:00 AM IN HEBRON WHERE ANYONE WISHING TO PARTICIPATE IS WELCOME TO ATTEND.

Be advised that this is a walking inspection of ditches, culverts and other stormwater collection areas/structures. The terrain will be uneven, potentially slippery and involve vegetation of varying degrees of size, density, etc. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear and clothing. All persons participating do so at their own risk.

I-70 Lane Restrictions and Ramp Closure
in Licking County Continues July 18 and 21

Jacksontown, Ohio (Wednesday, July 16, 2014) – On the evenings of Friday, July 18, and Monday, July 21, the on-ramp from 79 south to I-70 westbound will be closed, and I-70W will be restricted to one lane for one mile west of SR 79.

Work will begin at 6:00 p.m. on both evenings for pavement resurfacing. The ramp and restricted lane will reopen the following mornings at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

Ramp traffic will be detoured onto US 40W, to SR 37E, to I-70W.

In addition to the restrictions below, I-70 eastbound, from SR 158 to SR 37, will be restricted to one lane starting at 7:00 PM Thursday, July 17th and ending at 6:00 AM Friday, July 18th.

Update

The Kelly Drive and Westview Drive Street Improvements Project began this morning as scheduled. Up to $349,000 of this $459,110 project is being funded by a combination of grants and a loan from the Ohio Public Works Commission. Kokosing Construction Company’s schedule includes 23 days of concrete work and 3-4 days of paving, weather permitting.

Kokosing Construction Company, Inc. plans to begin work for the Kelly Drive and Westview Drive Street Improvement Project on Monday, July 7. Notices will be placed on front doors of properties which will be affected, as the work will require driveway closures in order to allow for curb and driveway aprons to be removed and replaced. While driveways are closed, one side of the street will remain open for on-street parking.

The Hebron Village Records Commission will meet at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. This meeting will take place at the Municipal Complex, 934 West Main Street, Hebron.
