The Village of Hebron Planning and Zoning Board has scheduled a Public Hearing on:

Topic: DLS Development Inc. – An application was received for a variance. The applicant wants to construct 12 two story apartment buildings each having 4 one bedroom units totaling 48 units and an accessory structure, with 15 storage units. The property is located south of the Country Village apartments on Canal Road. They are asking for two variances. The first is to allow the ground floor area to be 354 sq. ft. instead of the required 400 sq. ft. The second is to reduce the number of parking spaces required to 2 spaces for each dwelling unit instead of the 2.5 spaces.

Hear Bird + Bull Engineers and their consulting hydrologist present their comprehensive flood study to Village Council members. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers. Everyone is invited to participate! A copy of the report is available for review at the Hebron Municipal Complex.
From Licking County Emergency Management Agency Director Sean Grady:
Starting March 1, Licking County tornado sirens will be based on the National Weather Service warning box, letting residents know they are in the immediate path of a possible tornado. The sirens will no longer automatically sound countywide regardless of the warning area.
A countywide warning is still possible, but it would be triggered by county emergency management officials instead of the National Weather Service.
Also, beginning in March, sirens will be tested only on the first Wednesday of each month, at 12:17 p.m to reduce wear and tear on the equipment.
